Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has canceled a press conference scheduled for 12:30 p.m. in the wake of a growing story about Senator Al Franken kissing and groping a woman against her will.
The news of the canceled presser came less than an hour before it was scheduled to begin, indicating the Democrats who would be involved did not want to field questions about Franken.
And Chuck Schumer has postponed his press conference

A Politico reporter confirms that, yep, there were definitely going to be questions about the budding scandal.
Schumer/Reed press conference, set to start in about 30 min, is now canceled. Unclear the reason, but Franken questions would have come up.

There has been very little from Democratic politicians on the subject, and there are actually reporters who are trying to get statements from them.
So, instead of a press conference where Democrats bash the GOP tax reform plan, instead, we’re gonna get a news cycle about Al Franken’s past misdeeds.
