Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), a darling of progressives, promoted an Antifa handbook on Twitter — writing that the book about the violent communists will “strike fear into the heart” of President Donald Trump.
Keith Ellison is also the Deputy Chair of the DNC.

The book Ellison happily took a selfie posing with, Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook by Mark Bray, seeks to defend and normalize the actions of Antifa — a loose-knit group that has been classified as domestic terrorists by the New Jersey Department of Homeland Security.
Members of Antifa believe that violence is justified when used against political foes or to send a message during protests. Many claim that violence against “fascists,” or anyone to the right of Karl Marx, is justified as self-defense from an imagined threat. From rioting and causing over $500,000 in property damage to the area surrounding University of California at Berkeley to prevent Milo Yiannopoulos from speaking to bashing a stranger over the head with a bike lock for the crime of supporting our president, members of Antifa have become increasingly willing to use violence for political aims since the election.
While I support fighting fascism and Trump, the tactics of ANTIFA are literally fascist in that they support violence against political opponents. Free speech and debate are a hard line for me.

“Antifa grows out of a larger revolutionary politics that aspires toward creating a better world,” Bray told Teen Vogue in October while promoting the violent movement.
Bray went onto defend the violence, arson, looting and general chaos caused by the anti-government actors while attempting to shut down right-wing speakers on college campuses by stating that “these kinds of events often serve as points of recruitment for far-right groups and help to embolden and mobilize students and community members who carry out their violence later on.”
“Why don’t you just say you hate the Constitution and individual civil liberties such as ‘dissenting’ free speech? You might as well be dressed in an SS uniform,” a Twitter user named Bobby Guajardo tweeted in response to Ellison.
So you support fascism? Because antifa is nothing more than fascism disguised as anti-fascism. Why don't you just say you hate the Constitution and individual civil liberties such as "dissenting" free speech? You might as well be dressed in an SS uniform.

At Bray’s recent speaking engagement to promote the book in Boston, a Trump supporter was violently assaulted by the far-left anarchists. He was attacked by a mob of seven to ten people and left hospitalized with multiple fractures in his face.
