As TGP’s Cassandra Fairbanks previously reported, Colton Haab opted out of participating in CNN’s anti-gun town-hall event on Wednesday evening — seemingly because his perspective does not fit the narrative they have been peddling.
Haab is the brave 17-year-old member of the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps who ushered 60 to 70 people to safety in an open JROTC room during the Parkland school shooting. The high school junior may have saved many lives by using the Kevlar sheets from the marksmanship program to try and protect his peers. His actions were so important that the US Military is currently considering awarding him with a JROTC Medal of Heroism.
Despite this 17-year-old’s heroism, CNN would not allow him to ask his prepared questions.
“CNN had originally asked me to write a speech and questions and it ended up being all scripted,” Haab said. (VIDEO):

CNN responded to hero Colton Haab’s claim the anti-gun town hall was scripted in a statement via CNN public relations’ Twitter account.
CNN said, “There is absolutely no truth to this. CNN did not provide or script questions for anyone in last night’s town hall, nor have we ever.”
Fake news CNN then claims Colton’s father withdrew his name from participation before the forum began, however they did not specify why.
CNN concluded by asking Colton to join the network Thursday to discuss his views. (after they got caught suppressing his views)

CNN’s claims that they have never provided scripted questions is laughable at best.
CNN would never do such a thing, just ask Donna Brazile.
The Gateway Pundit has been on the receiving end of an onslaught of attacks from all sides simply because we dared question the liberal media’s agenda using the same Parkland students to push an anti-gun narrative.
We pointed out the obvious. The students appeared to be coached; CNN is only interviewing students who parrot anti-second amendment rhetoric.
Now CNN is calling a 17-year-old hero a liar. Will CNN receive the same treatment The Gateway Pundit is receiving? Rhetorical question, we know.
Some of the reaction from conservatives…
Guys guys guys we gotta take CNN for their word. They don’t do scripted questions. Just ask Donna Brazile. https://t.co/lxD1CMDViT

Are you speaking specifically about scripted questions, for a town hall or in general?
Donna Brazile knows a thing or two about this topic. pic.twitter.com/FP7Ib20v2P

Remember when they were caught on a live mic giving answers at the “independent” town hall?

Calling a hero that saved lives a liar, not a good look!

I’ll believe this kid all day long over agenda driven CNN

Let’s see…who should we believe? A teenage victim who risked his life to save fellow students or the lying sleazebags at CNN?
Yeah…

Did you forward the debate questions to DNC?? Communist News Network.

Are you saying a child is lying now?

There is a reason you are the least trusted name in “journalism” and I use the term “journalism” very loosely with you. You were caught with Donna Brazil, caught again on this one. #VeryFakeNews #ScriptedQuestions
