In November 2017 a 24-year-old North Korean soldier was filmed fleeing the regime across the demilitarized zone.
North Korean soldiers shot several rounds at the young soldier and hit him five times.
The man passed out and was dragged by South Korean soldiers to safety.
The soldier had a 10-inch parasitic worm in his stomach.
