Everyone’s favorite liberal, Kurt Eichenwald attacked pro-2A Parkland student Kyle Kashuv on Twitter Friday causing conservatives to launch a boycott of MSNBC’s advertisers.
This article was updated at 3:30 PM EST: Kurt Eichenwald stated his contract with MSNBC expired over a month ago. He said he hadn’t updated his Twitter bio in a timely manner to reflect he no longer contributes to MSNBC which caused the confusion.
Boycotts work both ways. It’s time to make the left live up to the rigors they set for conservatives.
Many of Laura Ingraham’s advertisers pulled their ads from her Fox News program this week after she tweeted about Power Hogg’s college rejections. Ingraham apologized and her tweet was mild compared to what Eichenwald said.

“Kyle…you continue to disappoint. Trafficking in fantasies, fine. Your followers are infantile, your only form of debate is insult. And you wonder why I have no respect for you.,” Eichenwald tweeted to Parkland student Kyle Kashuv.
Conservatives unleashed a boycott of MSNBC’s top advertisers by listing the names of the businesses.
Note: The Gateway Pundit had the pleasure of speaking with Kyle Kashuv. He is a respectful, mature young man who doesn’t resort to profanity-laced tirades, unlike like David Hogg and Cameron Kasky.
In an interview with The Gateway Pundit, Kashuv stated that his right-wing views have led to him being “hated” by his fellow students and labeled an “enemy of the movement.”
Kyle Kashuv also traveled to the White House and met President Trump and First Lady Melania the first week of March.
Kashuv hammered Eichenwald and listed MSNBC’s advertisers.

Eichenwald tried to backpedal with an apology to Kyle Kashuv then admitted he was actually trying to slam some other ‘high school kid with a podcast.’
“There is a high school kid who has a podcast.”
That’s who I meant to insult.
Sorry, Kyle, got you mixed up with some other underage boy!

Update: This post was updated to reflect that Eichenwald no longer works for MSNBC.
Eichenwald claims his contributor contract with MSNBC expired over a month ago and he needs to ‘update his Twitter bio’:
For those – like @benshapiro – who are taking my entire situation with @KyleKashuv to push a lie (I thought he was someone else) – stop going after @MSNBC. My contributor contact with them expired more than a month ago. Not with them. Need to edit my profile.

Hi, @smiledirectclub@jeep@proactiv@officedepot@cadillac@trivago@sleepnumber@omahasteaks.
I feel it is abhorrent that you advertise on @msnbc when MSNBC contributor Kurt Eichenwald has attacked school shooting survivors.
RT if you agree

Done. But the real question is will there be a double standard @davidhogg111 can call for boycotts and people and networks get behind him. Hope this works for you as well. Fire with fire now

Hi MSNBC advertisers. Do you all endorse the berating and bullying of the Parkland shooting by an MSNBC contributor? Is this what your companies represent?
— JS (@jlsin) March 30, 2018
Fair is fair! Better pull those ads! You’re on the “no buy” list now!
— Bo Phillips (@bo_phillips_) March 30, 2018
Too late, Eichenwald!
