Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, the candidate for governor who received the most votes in Tuesday’s California jungle primary, and his wife use dog crap bags emblazoned with the face of President Donald Trump according to tweets by the couple last month.

Jennifer Siebel Newsom tweeted on May 9 a photo of the bag with Trump’s face in front of the couple’s dog with the message, “What do you think of Max’s new poop bag?”

As of late Tuesday night California time, Newsom was leading the jungle primary with 34% of the vote followed by Republican John Cox with 26%, setting up a November battle between the Trump-endorsed Cox and the Trump dog crap bag using Newsom.
