Far Left Factcheck.org and Facebook Defend Liar Kamala Harris – Say Photos of Integrated Classrooms Do not Prove Classrooms were Integrated

- Juli 14, 2018

When an integrated classroom is NOT and integrated classroom…
Facebook and far left Factcheck.org jump through hoops to defend liberal Senator Kamala Harris.

On Monday The Gateway Pundit called out Kamala Harris for posting an obvious lie about her few years as a child in Berkeley, California, before she moved to Canada.

Here is that post

Media darling and Democrat Senator Kamala Harris tweeted about the power of the Supreme Court.

Harris said she was a student in only the second class to integrate at Berkeley public schools.

Kamala Harris:  Two decades after Brown v. Board, I was only the second class to integrate at Berkeley public schools. Without that decision, I likely would not have become a lawyer and eventually be elected a Senator from California. That’s the power a Supreme Court Justice holds.

There’s just one problem — Everything about that tweet is a lie.

Kamala’s parents were successful professionals. Kamala went to school in Berkeley for only 2 years. She then moved with her mother at age seven to Canada where she attended grade school and high school.

Kamala Harris was born in 1964

She claims she was only the second class to integrate at the Berkeley public schools.

Kamala lied.
Actually the classrooms in Berkeley were already integrated in 1963 — before she was born.
Here’s a photo from the 1963 Berkeley yearbook.

And here’s a photo from the Berkeley 1964 yearbookthe year Kamala was born.

* * * * * * * * * * FactCheck.org swooped in and came to Kamala’s defense in a doozy.

Factcheck.org and Facebook say the photos DO NOT prove the classrooms were integrated.

They say this does not prove the schools were integrated because NOT ALL of the schools were integrated.
Got that?

Berkeley started busing students to fully integrate the school district in 1968, and Harris began attending school in 1969.

However, Gateway Pundit claimed that the public schools in Berkeley, California, had been integrated for years before Harris entered the classroom. It presented high school yearbooks from 1963 and 1964 as evidence.

While it’s true that the high school was integrated, the rest of the district wasn’t, according to a report commissioned by the school board that was completed in 1963 and led to the full integration of the district in 1968. The report itself isn’t available online, but at least two academic studies that rely heavily on it are available.

The high school was integrated before the rest of the district because there was only one high school. All students — regardless of race — went there for high school.

The 14 elementary schools in the Berkeley Unified School District were a different story. They each drew students from the neighborhoods they were in. Those neighborhoods were segregated. So, while the schools didn’t have an official segregation policy, they were, effectively, segregated.

In the years following the 1963 report, the school district and its community debated the best course toward integration, and in 1968, it started busing students between neighborhoods to achieve integrated schools from elementary through high school.

That’s not all…
Because Facebook uses Factcheck.org to ban conservative content this post was dinged and the few people who see our content on Facebook got a warning on this post.

Facebook then uses these warnings to further shadow ban conservative content.

We are living under a modern day Stalinist regime folks where tech giants get to decide what you will and will not read.
This is a great example of their anti-conservative bias.

They can lie — but they run the operation and set the rules.
