Bernie Sanders tweeted a video on Friday evening of himself and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez campaigning in Kansas City for Democrat Brent Welder, the problem is that she accidentally said that they would be turning the seat “red” instead of “blue.”
“Hello everybody! I’m so excited to be hopping on here on Senator Sanders’ account. We’re here in Kansas City to rally for Brent Welder. We’re gonna flip this seat red in November,” the Democratic Socialist said.
The jokes on Twitter immediately poured in about how she must have meant Communist red.
