Rep. Darrell Issa Makes Peter Strzok Recite Controversial Anti-Trump Text Messages He Sent to Lisa Page (VIDEO)

- Juli 13, 2018

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) made disgraced former FBI agent Peter Strzok recite his most controversial text messages to his lover Lisa Page during Thursday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing.

Rep. Issa gave Strzok a printout of the texts to read during the heated and contentious hearing, in which the agent referred to Trump as a “douche” and a “disaster.”

“I’m going to ask one series of questions very quickly if I could. You did a number of texts. All of the texts that were presented to us, as far as I know, came from your government phone, correct?” Rep. Issa asked.

Strzok responded, “I believe that to be the case, yes.”

Rep. Issa then questioned if Strzok sent similar messages to Page on his private phone, prompting Strzok to ask what he meant by “similar.”

“Commenting on Mr. Trump or Hillary Clinton or anything else politically in nature,” Issa clarified.

“I don’t specifically recall, but it’s probably a safe assumption that yes I did,” Strzok responded.

Rep. Issa then directed Strzok to a sheet of paper that was presented to him and asked him to read his own words from March 14, 2016.

“You want me to read this?” Strzok asked.

“Yes, please,” Issa responded.

“OMG, he’s an idiot,” Strzok read from his texts.

Issa then asked for him to read the text from May 4, 2016.

“Now the pressure really starts finish MYE,” Strzok read.

The Congressman then asked him to read from July 19, 2016.

“Hi, how was Trump other than a douche? Melania?” Strzok read.

July 21, 2016,” Rep. Issa directed.

“Trump is a disaster. I have no idea how destabilizing his presidency would be,” Strzok recited.

Rep. Issa next asked him to read the text from August 6, 2016, which Strzok claimed that he did not recall writing.

“Okay, it’s been attributed to you, so we’ll go on to the next. August 8, 2016 and I’ll preference it by saying this for context – Ms. Page said ‘Not ever going to become president, right, right?'” Issa continued.

“No, no he’s not. We’ll stop it,” Strzok read.

“Repeat that again,” Rep. Issa demanded.

“No, no he’s not,” Strzok repeated.

Rep. Issa moved on to ask him to read from August 15, 2016.

“I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office that there’s no way he could be elected, but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk. It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40,” Strzok read.

The reading continued for several minutes.
