MS-13 members and other criminals are embedding themselves among a record number of “family units” pouring over the Rio Grande Valley sector of the Texas border with Mexico following the uproar and reversal of President Donald Trump’s efforts to curtail human trafficking and illegal immigration at the southern border. Trump was attacked by Democrats, the media, open border activists and the courts for holding adults for criminal and deportation processing apart from minors found with them at the border.

Recent press releases by the Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Sector indicate how out of control is the border.
Also, a report Wednesday by local KVEO-TV featured the Border Patrol stating the problem in the Rio Grande Valley is worse than the flood of illegal alien families in 2014 under the Obama administration.
The Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Sector is reporting a record number of illegal family migrations from Central American countries. The previous record was set back in 2014.
At sector headquarters in Edinburg agents say those are record breaking numbers. However, what is more concerning is the influx of criminals trying to get into the country illegally.
Agent Marcelino Medina says, “What we consider threats in the mix, we continue to see gang members, criminal aliens inside these groups trying to disguise themselves among the family units and unaccompanied children.”…
…Recently, in two separate incidents, Border Patrol agents apprehended 150 individuals comprised of family units and unaccompanied children all from Central American countries. Agents say it’s these large groups that concern them because of individuals trying to hide their criminal identities.
“We have seen sexual predators, people wanted for murder, and people wanted for assault. We’ve even encountered several types of gang members; MS-13 and 18th Street gang being the most prevalent.” Added Agent Medina…

Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Identifies Nine Gang Members in One Day Sept. 5: “EDINBURG, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley arrested and identified nine gang members in one day. Yesterday, in four separate incidents, agents assigned to the McAllen station apprehended four Salvadoran nationals identified as members of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang. In a separate incident, McAllen agents arrested a Salvadoran female traveling with a minor child whose records showed a previous arrest for assault and confirmed that she is an MS-13 gang member. McAllen agents also arrested a Salvadoran national near Mission, Texas, and a Guatemalan national near La Joya, Texas, both members of the 18th Street gang. In Falfurrias, agents arrested a Salvadoran national near Viboras, Texas, whose record checks confirmed that he is an MS-13 gang member. Kingsville agents apprehended a group of five illegal aliens attempting to circumvent the Sarita Checkpoint. During processing, agents noticed one of the subjects had several MS-13 affiliated tattoos. Record checks on the Salvadoran man confirmed his status as an MS-13 gang member.”
Stash House Discovered by Rio Grande Valley Agents in Escobares, Texas Sept. 5: “ESCOBARES, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents assisted the Escobares Police Department dismantle a stash house operation. On Monday, Rio Grande City Border Patrol station received a call from the Escobares Police Department for assistance in responding to a suspected stash house. Escobares PD advised they received a call from a concerned citizen regarding several suspicious subjects at a residence in Escobares. At the residence, agents and officers discovered 24 illegal aliens inside. Border Patrol is processing the subjects accordingly.”
Sept. 5: Family Units and Unaccompanied Children Continue to Flow Into the Rio Grande Valley:
EDINBURG, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley continue to encounter largeAgents encounter a group of 96 aliens near Hidalgo, Texas. groups of family units and unaccompanied children.
On Saturday, McAllen agents working south of Granjeno, Texas encountered a group of 64 illegal aliens comprised of family units and unaccompanied children. As agents collected information from the group, agents noticed a woman, traveling with her two-year-old daughter, exhibit signs of dehydration. A Border Patrol Emergency Medical Technician evaluated the woman and requested an ambulance to transport her to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Early Sunday morning, Weslaco agents encountered a group of 96 illegal aliens comprised of family units and unaccompanied children from Central America near Hidalgo, Texas.
Border patrol is processing the subjects accordingly.
The Rio Grande Valley Sector currently has multiple campaigns focused on rescues and danger awareness, such as “Operation Big Rig” and “No Se Arriesgue” to combat smuggling and ultimately save lives. Call 911 to report suspicious activity; “They’re humans, not cargo!”

Over a year-and-half into the Trump presidency the border is still out of control. With Congress stalling on the wall (Plan A) and the courts jamming enforcement (Plan B), will President Trump consider a Plan C: Declaration of a national emergency and militarization of the border?
