BREAKING: Dem Stacey Abrams Ends Challenge to Brian Kemp – But Won’t Concede!

- November 17, 2018

Georgia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams admitted she cannot overcome a 58,000 vote deficit in a speech Friday effectively ending her challenge to Brian Kemp.

Stacey Abrams campaign and legal team were preparing an unprecedented legal challenge that could have forced a court to rule whether another election was needed.

She finally backed down after throwing a tantrum, but stressed in her speech Friday that is was ‘not a concession.’

The Associated Press reported:

Democrat Stacey Abrams says she can’t win the Georgia governor’s race, effectively ending her challenge to Republican Brian Kemp.

Her speech Friday effectively puts a stop to the contest. The final result had been in doubt for 10 days after the election.

Abrams made her announcement just after 5 p.m. That was the earliest state officials could certify the results after a court-ordered review of absentee, provisional and other uncounted ballots. Abrams’ campaign had contended there were potentially enough uncounted votes to force a runoff.

Abrams stressed as she spoke: “This is not a speech of concession.”

Democrat leaders such as Hillary Clinton and Senator Cory Booker accused the Georgia GOP of stealing the governors race.

Cory Booker said people in certain demographics were disenfranchised and the GOP was suppressing voters.

Sore loser Stacey Abrams wouldn’t even concede even though she ended her bid for Governor–pathetic.
