Newsweek Wins the Friday #FakeNews Award for Disgusting Hit Piece on President Trump

President Donald Trump is meeting with world leaders in Buenos Aries, Argentina for the G20 Summit and already he is making history.

On Friday President Donald Trump, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto signed the “new NAFTA,” or USMCA trade agreement.

The new agreement will end NAFTA which resulted in the loss of at least a million US manufacturing jobs.

President Trump is set to meet with Chinese Leader Xi Jinping on Saturday. Already there are signs that progress has been made in trade agreements between the two super-powers.

But despite the president’s historic successes, far left Newsweek slammed President Trump for failing to sell US weapons to the Argentine government.

Argentina’s Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie told reporters that a number of issues were discussed during the meeting behind closed doors. While the possibility of selling U.S. military equipment was allegedly floated during the encounter, Argentina emphasized that it did not have the funds to make any purchase. “At this very moment, we’re not in the best position of acquiring military weapons from anywhere,” Faurie said, according to Argentine newspaper El Clarín.
