Many people on the left are positively giddy over the news that Paul Manafort is now cooperating with the Mueller probe but in truth, they have no real reason to be happy. Manafort’s admissions of guilt have nothing to do with the Trump campaign. Rudy Giuliani reminded people of this on the Hannity show last night.
The FOX News Insider reports:
Giuliani: Manafort’s Guilty Plea Is ‘Irrelevant’ to Trump Probe
Rudy Giuliani said Friday on Hannity that former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s guilty plea meant nothing when it comes to the president and allegations of collusion.
Manafort will be able to avoid a second trial with his plea, which also involves cooperating with Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
Giuliani said the real collusion is “that whole group of people — Strzok, Page, Ohr, Ohr’s wife, Comey, Brennan and Clapper” tried to keep President Trump out of the White House.
“The guilty pleas are all irrelevant,” Giuliani said.

There were countless headlines this week saying “Manafort Flips” which would seem to indicate that he somehow flipped on Trump, but if you read the reports, somewhere buried in later paragraphs, you see this important line, such as in this CNBC report:
The guilty plea by Manafort, 69, relates to money earned from consulting work on behalf of pro-Russia politicians in Ukraine and predate his tenure as chairman of Trump’s presidential campaign.
People on the left are getting excited over nothing.
