Just read the headline slowly. Let its tenrils drift around your cerebral cortex like some kind of mixture of LSD and crystal meth. Think about it. CNN has actually labeled one of the most middle of the road, inoffensive guys in the GOP Senate caucus as a white supremacist. See for yourself:
Video: Absolutely barbaric behavior in the last hour on @CNN, including this disgusting smear of Senator @JohnCornyn by @NiaCNN saying that Cornyn's rhetoric mirrors that of the El Paso terrorist. How repulsive of anyone, let alone a journalist to say that. pic.twitter.com/cIbPbZe61E

Here a CNN reporter, let me say that again, a CNN reporter, not a contributor, named Nia-Malika Henderson claims, unsuprisingly, that “some of the language in [John Cornyn’s] twitter feed mirrors some of the language in the manifest [of the El Paso shooter].”
What was that language:
Texas gained almost nine Hispanic residents for every additional white resident last year https://t.co/rbjpkzMGwf via @TexasTribune
— Senator John Cornyn (@JohnCornyn) June 22, 2019
This massively dishonest effort was started by some academic nitwit named Benjamin Park at Sam Houston State University. And it was done deliberately:
And yes, I know the words in the tweet came from the article headline. But you’re naive to think tweeting the story and invoking he headline do not carry a particular meaning, given the context.
— Benjamin Park (@BenjaminEPark) August 3, 2019
Even people who were not friendly to Republicans noticed
John Cornyn is getting slammed for this tweet again. Whatever you might think about the motivation or propriety of his sharing that particular article, it's worth noting that the tweet is the automated language generated by the Texas Tribune, not Cornyn's own words. https://t.co/Idl7zhraG5
— Susan Hennessey (@Susan_Hennessey) August 3, 2019
And, if you aren’t familiar with it, the Texas Tribune is anything but a conservative outlet.
And this was Cornyn’s follow up to that tweet:
From my experience growing up in San Antonio, Hispanics are hard working, patriotic, religious, family-oriented believers in the American Dream. Showing up, listening, and mutual respect is what all have a right to expect and what I try to live up to. https://t.co/gc3oLyxYjJ
— Senator John Cornyn (@JohnCornyn) June 23, 2019
The point here is that as far as CNN and the rest of the media and the Democrats are concerned, we are all white supremacists. They don’t even have any problem with blatantly lying to push that narrative. If you go along with this bullsh** then you are accepting their label. Your condemnation of white supremacy is used as evidence that you are one and are trying to recant. And guess what, your apology is not going to be accepted. If John Cornyn can be labeled a white supremacist by CNN, you really don’t have a chance.
